Horagai training at Shozenin
The Dharma-conch (horagai) is the most emblematic implement in Shugen. I recently completed a translation of the ryūra-himaki, and commentaries suira-jitsuroku-shū and ryūra ongen-shū as part of transmitting the Dharma-conch practices.
Accompanying these is a collection of sound recordings and commentaries on Dharma-conch ryūra methods, as well as some articles and lectures. Included also are my recordings ryūra methods as performed by daisendatsu. As the oral-teachings of the Dharma-conch are always transmitted together with those of the kainō-ō and hisshiki, these are also included in this volume.
